6. a) What are my rights and how can I exercise them

As a data subject, the user has the rights set out in Art. 15 et seq. of the Regulation, and specifically: 1. RIGHT OF ACCESS (Art. 15 GDPR) The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist, even if not yet recorded, and to have such data communicated in intelligible form. 2. RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION (Art. 16 GDPR) The data subject has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them, as well as the completion of incomplete data. 3. RIGHT TO ERASURE (Art. 17 GDPR) The data subject has the right to obtain the erasure of personal data where particular grounds apply, such as the withdrawal of consent, objection to the processing, or where the data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected and processed, or in the case of unlawful processing. RIGHT TO OBJECT (Art. 21 GDPR) The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part: a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection; b) to the processing of personal data concerning them for the pursuit of purposes not covered by Art. 2. The user may submit a request to object to the processing of their personal data pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR, setting out the reasons justifying the objection: the Controller reserves the right to assess the request, which would not be accepted where there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the user. 7. RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR if they believe that the processing of their data is contrary to the legislation in force.
