An acoustic map is a method for visualising noise levels, either measured or estimated through calculation procedures, at different points across a given area.

Acoustic mapping, with the graphical representation of isoline curves, allows for a more in-depth noise analysis e identify the primary noise sources in order to optimise soundproofing and screening interventions.
