Your noise issues will be addressed through an in-depth sound level study able to guarantee the objectives set, through a tailor-made acoustic design project. Each noise mitigation intervention is planned on the basis of operational needs which usually make soundproofing a mix of technical expertise and craftsmanship, able to satisfy the client’s production requirements while at the same time achieving the soundproofing needed to reduce noise exposure. The study of processes and systems starts from a predictive acoustic assessment, moves through detailed design and on to the implementation of the interventions required, and to the final acoustic testing with sound level meters and certified measuring instruments. Our professionalism, internationally recognised in the field, is at your service.

Measurement of machine noise emissions

Presidential Decree (DPR) 24 July 1996 No. 459, “Regulation for the implementation of Directives 89/392 EEC, 91/368 EEC, 93/44 EEC and 93/68 EEC”, establishes that machines and equipment placed on the market must be accompanied by acoustic certification. The user and maintenance manual must specify:

  • The equivalent sound pressure level at the operator’s position (if > 70 dB)
  • The maximum peak sound pressure level at the operator’s position (if > 130 dB)
  • The sound power level of the machine, if the equivalent sound pressure level at the operator’s position exceeds 85 dB.
